Food Tracker AI has no accounts and shows no ads. Your food log stays in Apple Health on your iPhone. We do not sell your data.
When you take or choose a photo, Food Tracker AI sends a smaller copy of it to our server, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude AI to estimate the nutrition. When you tap What should I change?, Food Tracker AI sends your last 7 days of logged foods and numbers the same way. Food Tracker AI asks your permission before sending anything.
Our server does not store your photos or food logs. Anthropic processes them to give the answer and handles them under its commercial terms and privacy policy, which do not allow them to be used to train its models by default.
With your permission, Food Tracker AI saves nutrition to Apple Health and reads back what it saved to show your totals. Health data is never used for advertising or sold. You can change this permission in the Health app at any time, and you can remove any food from inside Food Tracker AI.
Apple handles all payments, and we never see your payment details. Our server checks a signed record from Apple to confirm your subscription, and keeps a scrambled version of its ID with a count of today's uses to enforce the daily limit. Those counts are deleted after 7 days.
Food Tracker AI is not directed to children under 13.
